Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music songwriter and vocalist from America. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe called Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, and then released her 2nd Album called Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in the year the year 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager for the village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years experience as a public servant, which includes more than five years of being Deputy City Manager in Iowa City. She currently serves as the Assistant Village manager and holds a wide range of responsibilities, including managing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special initiatives. The role of Ashley at Riverside is to assist in the day-to-day operations of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by the elected officials. Ashley has held a variety of roles in the past, including municipal planning and government communication budgeting personnel management collective bargaining in addition to working on climate change-related initiatives.
